Good To Know

Location

The tour departs from Albufeira Marina, conveniently located in the heart of the Algarve. Public transport is available to the marina, and there are many taxi and ride-hailing services for easy access. If you're staying in Albufeira's Old Town, it's just a 20-minute walk to the marina.

Check-In Time

Please ensure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for check-in and boarding. This ensures a smooth and timely start to your tour.

Weather Conditions

The tour will proceed as planned unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe. In the event of bad weather, we will notify you in advance. If you are unable to reschedule to another date, a 15% cancellation fee will apply. Otherwise, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund if we cannot agree on a new date.

What to Wear

Comfortable clothing is recommended, with swimwear, sunscreen, and a hat for sun protection. It’s also a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater, as it can get cooler on the water.

Food and Drink Onboard

Included in your tour is a chef’s selection of cheeses, charcuterie, and regional fruits, along with a selection of drinks. If you have any dietary preferences, we offer gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian menus, which can be requested at the time of booking. For Full-Day Excursions, you can enjoy a tasting of oysters from the Ria. Additionally, lunch can be arranged at one of our partner restaurants (additional cost). If you're craving something special, sushi and seafood are available upon request for an extra charge.

Marine Life

The Algarve is home to a rich variety of marine life, including dolphins, whales, and sharks, with occasional sightings of orcas, though these are rare. While sightings of these magnificent creatures are possible, they are not guaranteed. As these animals are wild, sightings can vary depending on the season and weather conditions.

Equipment

Enjoy the amenities available on the boat, including towels and paddle boards for your convenience and enjoyment. Snorkelling masks are also available upon request, so you can explore the underwater world if you wish.

What happens if someone gets seasick?

Our crew is trained to assist with basic remedies like water and fresh air advice. We recommend bringing motion sickness medication if you’re prone to it, just in case. The yacht’s stable design also helps minimise discomfort.

Are there any toilets onboard?

Yes, the yacht is equipped with modern restroom facilities for your comfort, so you won’t need to worry during your time at sea.

Can we bring our own music?

Definitely! The yacht has a sound system you can connect to via Bluetooth. Bring your playlist to set the vibe—perfect for a group party theme.

Is there a minimum group size required?

No minimum—just you and your crew up to 18 guests! The yacht is exclusively yours, whether it’s a small gathering or a full party.

Is there a photographer available?

We don’t provide a photographer, but the crew can snap some group shots with your camera or phone. For professional photos, you’re welcome to bring your own photographer as part of your 18 guests.
